100 days

Dress: ℅ Sheinside (on sale for $15!), Wedges: Steve Madden (similar here and here), Clutch: Kohl's, Necklace: Windsor (love this one too), Earrings: Kohl's, Bracelets:Lulu*s & made by me, Lipstick: Indie Flick by NYX, Nail Polish: Mod About You by OPI

The countdown is officially on! Today marks 100 days until Colton and I get married! I've been slowly checking off all of the last minute details and am so happy and excited with how everything is coming together. I'm still getting back into the swing of things after getting home from my bridal shower in South Dakota earlier this week. After unpacking on Tuesday afternoon, I checked the mail to find my bachelorette party invite inside. Other than knowing when and where (Vegas, baby!) I'm pretty much clueless as to what my bridesmaids have planned. I can't wait!

keep on shining

*This post is brought to you by Miss Me, however opinions are my own.

Good Morning and Happy Friday! I've been in South Dakota since Wednesday enjoying a few days of much needed rest & relaxation with my bestie (Ellen) before my bridal shower tonight. My mom and grandma are arriving in Rapid City this morning and I'm so excited for the rest of our weekend here and all of the fun things we have planned.

The cooler weather here has me so ready for Fall and all that it entails *cough* wedding *cough.* Another part of Fall that I love is shopping for new clothes. After a few months of 110+ degree weather I start to seriously wish I could wear something other than shorts and a tank top. Miss Me has me especially excited to start on my Fall shopping. Check out this video to see what I mean:

I've always been a fan of Miss Me's jeans but watching this video makes me realize how amazing all of their other clothing items are as well. I am absolutely obsessed with the outfit the girl in the car is wearing and am looking forward to getting it to wear this Fall.

Another thing I love about Miss Me is their manifesto:
"I am unique. Strong. Always looking forward, never back. Not willing to sit back and watch things pass, but motivated to go out and make it better. I am not a follower, a mere resident of the world; I am a girl who will go out and change it. I know I can do anything. I'll keep on shining, no matter what."

This is exactly how I felt after graduating from college in December. Since then, I've felt so motivated to follow my dreams and not let the world pass me by. I look forward to where life takes me and know that no matter how many curveballs I face, I'll always "Keep on Shining."

Abercrombie & Fitch - Best Fit Ever

*This post brought to you by Abercrombie & Fitch. All opinions are 100% mine.
Jeans: c/o Abercrombie & Fitch, Kimono: c/o Abercrombie & Fitch, Top: c/o Abercrombie & Fitch, Sandals: Ross, Bag: Marc Jacobs, Necklaces: Nordstrom Rack, Bracelets: Lucky Brand & made by me, Lips: Snob by MAC lipstick with Turkish Delight by NARS lipgloss on top, Nail Polish: Come Here! by Essie

I'll never forget my first trip to Abercrombie & Fitch, I was twelve years old and purchased a navy blue tank top and matching board shorts. I had gone shopping with my fashionable aunt to find something to wear to my first co-ed pool party, an end of the year bash to celebrate ending the sixth grade and starting junior high. I've been a loyal shopper at Abercrombie & Fitch since my first purchase there fourteen years ago.

When I was approached by Abercrombie & Fitch to find my #bestfitever jeans, I jumped at the chance. Their jeans have always been a staple in my closet and with their new collection, they make finding the right fit easier than ever. When I arrived in the store, I tried on one pair of each style to determine which were my best fit ever. I was happy to find a wide array of fits including Boyfriend, Jean Legging, High Rise Super Skinny, Super Skinny, Natural Waist Jegging, Overall, Skinny and Boot. I loved all of the styles but the High Rise Super Skinny ended up being my absolute favorite.

Once I had decided on a fit that I loved, I tried on the different washes. From super washed out lights to rich dark rinses, there were plently to choose from. I ended up getting the Destroyed White Super Skinny High Rise Jeans which are perfect for the end of summer and easing into Back to School time.

Oh, and I should probably mention that right now you can buy any jeans in store for $35! So what are you waiting for? Head on over to your local Abercrombie & Fitch and find your #bestfitever!

our future office

(A little peek into my not-so-glamorous life currently.)

I feel a bit like a broken record repeating once again that our wedding is fast approaching, but time is seriously flying! With just over three months to go until the big day, Colton and I have been working on all sorts of home improvement projects to slowly start turning his house into our home.

The photo above is what our future office looked like last weekend. Thankfully, it is slowly coming together but still has quite a bit of work to go before I share the "after" photos. What we thought was going to be one trip to the hardware store has now turned into ten. What we thought was going to be a weekend project has turned into two weeks. In other words, when we started this project we were pretty clueless.

Luckily, Colton's dad, Randy, is quite the handyman and even though he's halfway across the country he's been able to provide us with a great deal of help. Colton and I had decided to start the office by painting it. Neither of us have had much experience in the painting department so our first phone call to Randy was to ask which brands of paint we should use. After we'd established a paint color we realized that we needed to update all of our electrical outlets and get a new fan to match the new color of the room. We called Randy again to get input on what kind of fan we should get and how to safely change the outlets. And the list (and phone calls) goes on and on.

Basically, without Randy's help our office would still be in shambles. Thanks to him, Colton and I have been able to keep this DIY project truly do-it-yourself and have turned our office into our favorite room in the house. We also feel much more confident going into our next home improvement project because of his help.

Like a good neighbor State Farm is there.

navy & neon

Dress:Sugar Love Boutique, Slip: Target (worn underneath dress), Bag: Old Navy, Wedges: Steve Madden (similar here), Sunglasses: Michael Kors, Necklaces: Nordstrom Rack (similar here), Bracelets: made by me, Lips: Snob by MAC lipstick with Turkish Delight by NARS lipgloss on top, Nail Polish: Mod About You by OPI

I am absolutely loving how versatile this dress from Sugar Love Boutique is. It can be worn to the beach or pool as a cover-up or as a dress with a slip underneath. I opted for the latter option and wore it out to lunch and to pick up my wedding dress (eeeek!) on Friday afternoon. Colton and I also picked out tuxes and had our cake tasting this weekend. I can't believe how quickly time is flying by, I can't wait to be Mrs. Rearick!
