Happy last day of July! I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of relieved that this month is over. Wedding planning, renovating parts of our house, a bridal shower in South Dakota and lots of work makes for one exhausted Brie! I'm so happy to be back to blogging more regularly now that things have slowed down a bit :)

save the dates

You may have seen me post this photo of our Save the Dates on Instagram a few weeks ago. Today, I thought I'd share a few more photos of them because I'm so happy with how they turned out! We ordered our Save the Dates through Minted and were really impressed with their service, quality, price, and quick turnaround. We plan on ordering our invitations through them this week. (Eeeek!!!)

I don't think our Save the Dates need a step-by-step tutorial as it's pretty self-explanatory but I linked all of the materials used below :)

white on white

Top:Sugar Love Boutique, Jeans: Abercrombie, Bag: Old Navy, Sandals: Sam Edelman (similar here), Lipstick: Persian Melon by Revlon, Nail Polish: Mod About You by OPI, Earrings: Kohl's, Necklaces: Nordstrom Rack (similar here)

I absolutely love the versatility of this tunic from Sugar Love Boutique. I can't wait to wear it as a cover-up on our honeymoon in just over three short months. (!!!!) One of my favorite looks for summer is an all-white outfit and this one is no exception. The blue embroidery on the tunic and my new favorite lipstick added the pop of color I always need to keep things from getting boring.

100 days

Dress: ℅ Sheinside (on sale for $15!), Wedges: Steve Madden (similar here and here), Clutch: Kohl's, Necklace: Windsor (love this one too), Earrings: Kohl's, Bracelets:Lulu*s & made by me, Lipstick: Indie Flick by NYX, Nail Polish: Mod About You by OPI

The countdown is officially on! Today marks 100 days until Colton and I get married! I've been slowly checking off all of the last minute details and am so happy and excited with how everything is coming together. I'm still getting back into the swing of things after getting home from my bridal shower in South Dakota earlier this week. After unpacking on Tuesday afternoon, I checked the mail to find my bachelorette party invite inside. Other than knowing when and where (Vegas, baby!) I'm pretty much clueless as to what my bridesmaids have planned. I can't wait!

keep on shining

*This post is brought to you by Miss Me, however opinions are my own.

Good Morning and Happy Friday! I've been in South Dakota since Wednesday enjoying a few days of much needed rest & relaxation with my bestie (Ellen) before my bridal shower tonight. My mom and grandma are arriving in Rapid City this morning and I'm so excited for the rest of our weekend here and all of the fun things we have planned.

The cooler weather here has me so ready for Fall and all that it entails *cough* wedding *cough.* Another part of Fall that I love is shopping for new clothes. After a few months of 110+ degree weather I start to seriously wish I could wear something other than shorts and a tank top. Miss Me has me especially excited to start on my Fall shopping. Check out this video to see what I mean:

I've always been a fan of Miss Me's jeans but watching this video makes me realize how amazing all of their other clothing items are as well. I am absolutely obsessed with the outfit the girl in the car is wearing and am looking forward to getting it to wear this Fall.

Another thing I love about Miss Me is their manifesto:
"I am unique. Strong. Always looking forward, never back. Not willing to sit back and watch things pass, but motivated to go out and make it better. I am not a follower, a mere resident of the world; I am a girl who will go out and change it. I know I can do anything. I'll keep on shining, no matter what."

This is exactly how I felt after graduating from college in December. Since then, I've felt so motivated to follow my dreams and not let the world pass me by. I look forward to where life takes me and know that no matter how many curveballs I face, I'll always "Keep on Shining."
