Instagram Roundup

Happy Friday! I hope everyone has a great weekend. Colton and I are going to slowly start getting the nursery ready for baby girl...Eeeeek! Time is flying by and it's all starting to feel REALLY real. We're getting so excited!

I've rounded up some of my most recent outfits from Instagram today because there are so many great items on sale and/or under $100! I've made sure to highlight the sale items and any coupon codes you need to get the sale prices. If there's one item that I'm most excited about being on sale, it's these sneakers. I'm seriously obsessed!

Faux Suede Blush Jacket

This past Fall, I purchased a drape front jacket that I've gotten so much wear out of and have been on the hunt for a new one to add to my wardrobe ever since. I knew I'd found the one when I saw this gorgeous faux suede jacket in blush pink at Nordstrom. I love the way it looks styled with over-the-knee boots and neutral accessories for Winter. I'm also looking forward to styling it for Spring with white jeans and wedges. It comes in three other colors and is under $100!

Nordstrom has such an amazing selection of drape front jackets, so I thought I'd share a few more of my favorites with you. I'd love to know which one is your favorite!
1. KUT from the Kloth 'Ana' Faux Leather Drape Front Jacket ($59.10) // This jacket is currently 40% and off comes in 4 colors!
2. BLANKNYC Mixed Media Faux Leather Drape Front Jacket ($98) // I love the off-white color of this jacket, it would transition perfectly into Spring.
3. BB Dakota 'Peppin' Drape Front Faux Leather Jacket ($87) // I own and love this jacket and get so much wear out of it! The color is so versatile and it fits amazing. I can't recommend it enough. You can see how I styled it here.
4. Cupcakes and Cashmere 'Abria' Drape Front Jacket ($175) // I like the length of this jacket and how relaxed the style of it is. It can easily be dressed up with a dress and heels or down with jeans and sneakers.
5. BB Dakota 'Nanette' Faux Suede Drape Front Jacket ($115) // This jacket is the same style as the one I own (#3), but in suede. It comes in three colors, my favorite is the color "Whiskey."
6. Moon River Draper Lapel Jacket ($75) // The bow cuffs on this jacket are such a fun added detail. I also love the length and color of the jacket.

Winter Neutrals with Nordstrom

I always have the hardest time picking out what to wear during the month of January. It's still very much winter, but with the holidays being over and the start of a new year, I like to lighten up the colors in my wardrobe. When I found this pretty ivory sweater at Nordstrom, I knew it would be perfect for the upcoming months. I love the bell sleeves and the over-sized fit. It's so cozy and has quickly become a staple item in my closet!

To show how versatile the sweater is, I'm styling it two ways wearing some of my must-have neutrals basics with it. For the first look, I layered it over a flowy tunic tank. I paired the sweater with a dainty choker, my favorite jeans for under $100, and suede over-the-knee boots.

I love the way the ivory sweater looks with black and grey accessories. I received this crossbody bag for Christmas and couldn't wait to style it with the sweater! Winter in Arizona is pretty mild compared to most places so I wore a pair of peep toe lace-up booties and a black bow choker. I should also mention that the sweater comes in two other colors perfect for this time of year, blush pink and slate

Pink Ruffles

Good Morning! I'm so happy to be back to this space after taking a few weeks break! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Colton and I spent lots of time with family and started to get things ready for baby girl! This pregnancy has been flying by and I'm getting so excited to meet our daughter in just a few short months.

I'm loving anything and everything with ruffles lately and this pretty top is so no exception! I paired it with my favorite statement necklaces (here and here) that I love to layer together. Oh, and can we talk about how fabulous this bag is? The color is gorgeous and the size is perfect, it's so versatile and only $64.95!

My Sister's Wedding Day

Wedding Dress: Essense of Australia via Uptown Bridal
Bridesmaid Dresses: Sorella Vita

Reception Venue: Soho 63
Makeup: Court Montes

Good Morning! I'm so excited to be sharing more details from my sister's wedding today, specifically her gorgeous dress. As I mentioned yesterday, we both had such amazing experiences picking out our Essense of Australia wedding dresses from Uptown Bridal. What I didn't share, was that our experiences couldn't have been any more different. When I got married, I actually ended up buying the first dress I tried on.  I continued to try on maybe ten or so more dresses without a clear idea of what I really wanted but just knew that I'd found "the one" when I tried the first dress on.

Makenzie on the other hand, thought she knew the style of dress she wanted and as it turns out she went with something completely different. She tried on dozens of dresses and found so many that she loved that she had the hardest time picking just one. She narrowed it down to three Essense of Australia dresses and we made multiple trips to Uptown Bridal for her to try them on before she decided on "the one."

I'm so happy Makenzie chose the Essense of Australia dress she did because she looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day. One of the things my sister and I were both glad we did when searching for our wedding dresses was to try on all different styles to see what would look best for our body types. I think the trumpet style is gorgeous and looks so flattering on her. The beautiful lace detailing, sweetheart neckline, and beaded embellishments are just a few of the things I love about her dress.

I raved about my experience at Uptown Bridal when I got married back in 2014. I went to a few other bridal boutiques to try on dresses but none of them compared to the service I received at Uptown Bridal. The good news for all of you brides-to-be is that the experience at Uptown Bridal is about to get even better! They just announced that they'll be moving to their dream location, a historic 1920's farmhouse in Chandler, in 2017. At the new venue you'll receive Celebration Consultations, which include 3 hours of full and private access in the boutique with catered food and celebratory beverages for up to 6 adults. There will also be a photographer on hand to capture the special day as well as lots of other personalized touches. The best part is 100% of the Celebration Consultation investment will be applied to the bride's wedding gown purchase on the day of her visit! You can read more about the amazing new Uptown Bridal venue and their Celebration Consultations here
