we made it a TSR night

Top: Xi Clothing, Skirt: Target, Shoes: Kohl's, Bracelets: Derng
Obviously these photos suck.
Colton already went downstairs to gamble so I had to work with what I had, an iPhone and a closet mirror.

Oh, and HAPPY FREAKING FRIDAY!
Today I'll be recapping the second half of last week's staycation.
Actually, no. I wrote this post last night because today I will getting off work at 3pm and taking a nap.
And by recapping, I mean showing you a bunch of photos because I'm feeling super tired and uncreative.
That, my friend, is the beauty of the "Schedule" button on Blogger.

Here we go:
Colton and I woke up bright and early on Saturday to do a little gambling.
And by bright and early, I mean 10am.
I refuse to do anything but play Deuces Wild on video poker machines while at casinos.

After winning losing some money we decided to call it quits and head down to the pool:
I must have missed the memo that I'm now dating a hardcore gangsta boi.
The words "hardcore" and "boi" should probably never be used in the same sentence ever again.
Relaxation at it's finest. Notice how no one is in the pool?
That changed fairly quickly.
Here's the view of the pool party from our room. So much fun!
But then I noticed everyone started hopping out of the pool and running for cover. It may or may not have had something to do with this:
A haboob! No, the world is not coming to an end. It's just basically a really freaking huge dust storm. The day after a haboob car washes are jam packed and people are outside cleaning their pools. AKA, they suck.
In the midst of the haboob. This was literally 5 minutes after I took the photo of the pool party and everyone had cleared out.

Later that night we got all gussied up to go the club on the 14th floor of the resort.
It has some of the best views in Phoenix.
I love it.

My cousin Justin and I.
Dranking my new favorite drank: Gin & Tonic with extra lime. Ob. Sessed.
Sunday morning we ordered room service and watched the Harry Potter movie marathon. It was magical. (no pun intended)

I hope you all have a fabulously fantastic weekend.
I'll see you back here on Monday!

Your outfit is stunning! I can't wait til I'm not fat (aka pregnant) anymore so I can dress cute again. I used to love gin and tonics! My fave drink ever...until one night I ended up with my head hanging out my friend's car window on the way home from the bars. Haven't had one since. :)

The word "haboob" just had me giggling like a 12 year old boy. I am mature. But holy crap! That thing is intense! I think I would run in terror.

Seriously, you are so pretty it's ridiculous.

I've seen dust storms before, but never one that big! Crap.

My parents always used to drink gin and tonic. I'm thinking it might be time to give it a try!

OMG you stole my drink! I die over bin and tonics. I need one now.

Sounds like an awesome weekend!! That "haboob" is some serious craziness. I would probably just cry if I saw that coming. We don't deal with such things in good ole New England.

Amy @ Not Your Average Baby Blog said...

and by bin and tonic I mean gin and tonic. I think I was just drinking vicariously through you.
