This week I've decided to dedicate "always.sometimes.never." to one of my favorite things in life: reality television. (Inspiring, I know.)
The Hills
Always: I'm always up for a good ol' marathon of The Hills. Does anyone else see the irony of having the marathon on Labor Day weekend? You know, considering none of these girls have actually "worked" a day in their lives.
Sometimes: I sometimes get told that I look like Audrina Patridge. I secretly worry that people are really just trying to tell me that I have ceiling eyes. Please don't let that be the case.
Never: I will never understand why Heidi went from this...
to this...
...there are no words.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo
Always: There are always at least 10 things in each 30 minute episode of this show that shock me.
To name a few...
*Honey Boo Boo's mom is only 33 years old and she's a grandma. She had her first child at 15 and that child just had her first child at 17.
*Each daughter (there are 4) has a different dad. Each dad has a criminal record.
*The mom is an extreme couponer. This shocks me because I didn't think there was enough brain power in that pretty little head of hers to even understand what a coupon is.
Sometimes: I sometimes wish I could do this...
Never: I will never get over how crazy this family is. I love it. And I'll never stop watching.
Bachelor Pad
Always: Bachelor Pad will always be my favorite reality show. Nothing compares.
Sometimes: I sometimes wish I could be cast on the Bachelor just to have a chance to be on Bachelor Pad. P.S. Don't worry Colton, I will sacrifice my Bachelor Pad dreams for you.
Never: I will never watch Bachelor Pad again if Chris and Sarah win. Okay, that's a lie. But I'll be seriously pissed. And then I'll be over it in like a week.
That's all I've got for you today.
I need to get back to my traumatized dog.
You see, Mace comes over on Thursday and Zoey has never been more terrified of anyone or anything in her life.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: 2 pound dogs + 2 year olds = a bad idea.

hiedi is like....i also have no words. i actually always loved lauren and just read her book series LA Candy and even though it's super cheesy, i love it and wonder just how much of it she based on the show.
onto honeybooboo. i want to stop watching but i cant. as crazy as they are, i think that they genuinely love each other, and even though mostly they gross me out (hair bugs, lots of farting..yuck) i can't get enough!!

I can see the resemblance between you and Audrina, but you are definitely much prettier and definitely do NOT have ceiling eyes. Ha! And Heidi...oof. So, so bad. She used to be so cute :(
Honey Boo Boo pisses me off to no end because she gives us southerners SUCH a bad name. Eeeeek makes me wanna hurl.
And all things Bachelor make me happy. I'm rooting for Nick and Rachel, too. Chris is the scum of the Earth. Literally. Ew.
you are so funny. I need to do one of these post. I too love reality tv, no matter how bad it is. I no longer say I won't watch this if so and so wins because I no that pretty much whatever happens on those shows I'll still watch and still be excited about it. I just wish I still had cable because I would have so many more options for reality tv!

I love the Hills!!! but Heidi...dear God what happened to her?!? As for your poor pup and 2 year olds, I can relate...my little dachshund is TERRIFIED of anyone under the age 4, it's kind of funny and cute but strange lol

OMG I totally watched the entire Hills marathon and I even got my boyfriend hooked on it with me. And you do not look like Audrina... you are beautiful and she always looks like a sad puppy! And I totally agree with you about the Heidi thing... what a waste, she used to be so cute!

I;m a reality tv junkie so I LOVED this post!! I wish they'd bring The Hills back, it was such a great show. You do look like Audrina (minus the ceiling eyes), you're gorgeous girl! I can't stop watching Honey Boo Boo either, mostly because I can't believe people like that actually exist!

i watched the hills marathon too! so good....& i agree what the hel did heidi do?! its so sad to watch the show and just see her go down the drain....so i had no idea all of the kids were from different dads...gross. that show freaks me out haha! happy friday brie! XO

We watch movies instead. But it cracks me up to see some of the things on TV now. Like Honey Boo Boo child - they GAVE THAT FAMILY A SHOW?? Like, for real? oh honey boo boo. how is that a tv show? why are we paying this woman and encouraging her? they scare me. and i actually don't think i have watched any of these! i watched the clip of honey boo boo from the toddlers and tiaras, but never the show. and i watched the hills once or twice, but don't really recall it.
