Ohhhh, yes. It's that time again. Another season of The Bachelor. I can't help it, I'm obsessed. I know it's cheesy, dramatic, over the top, and never ends in true love...but I just can't get enough. What did you all think of the first episode? The thing that most stood out to me was that 75% of the girls need to lay off the Snookified spray tans. My prediction is that he picks Desiree and they ride off into the Fiji sunset together. 3 months, 9 days, 7 hours, 21 minutes, and 45 seconds later US Weekly reports that Sean is leaving her for a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Yep, sounds about right.

I just love this man and all of his music. Channel Orange was nominated for the  Grammy's Album of the Year.
*fingers crossed he wins*

Wearing:

Nars Larger than Life Lip Gloss in Born This Way is the absolute best. I usually wear a coat of nude lipstick under lipgloss to really make the color pop but this one stands out all on its own.

Eating:
(source)
One word: Quinoa. (pronounced keen-wah, not key-noah-sorry, pet peeve of mine.)
Colton and I have been on a huge quinoa kick lately. We've experimented with a few different versions but our favorite is a delicious shrimp one....recipe coming soon!

Reading:
(source, source)
I only read about a chapter of Insurgent before I realized it had been way too long since I'd read Divergent to have any clue what was going on. Thus, I'm actually re-reading Divergent.
P.S. Divergent and Insurgent are parts one and two of a trilogy.

Loving:
(source)
My new computer! I can't even tell you how enjoyable it is to use one that actually works. It was well beyond time for me to replace my Macbook circa 2006. (That's ancient in Apple years.)

Smelling:
Fun (but not for me) Fact: Perfume makes me gag. Big time.
99.9% of perfumes give me horrible headaches. Luckily, one scent caught my eye (or nose, rather) a few months ago. I'd forgotten all about it until my best friend, Ellen, surprised me with it for Christmas. She got me the Nectarine Blossom and Honey but all of their scents are equally light, fresh, and delicious.

Craving:
(source)
Question: Can you actually crave something you've never tried? Serendipity is one of my all time favorite movies, and after watching the scene with Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack sipping on that delicious looking frozen hot chocolate about a dozen times, I've made it a mission of mine to try it. Thanks to your comments on what I should do in Vegas, I've been reminded of that mission. So the answer to the question is yes. And I cannot wait to fulfill my craving this weekend.

I couldn't agree more about the bachelor! I literally cannot get enough, regardless of how silly it is. I wonder why the girl's face is blurred in that picture?! I think it's 50 shades girl...and if I were her I wouldn't want to show my face either haha. I'm craving frozen hot chocolate now too!

Oh my! I'm going to read Safe Haven soon! I always have high expectation for Nicholas Sparks books. I've never tried quinoa but I've been wanting to! I actually smelled it at Ralphs's salad bar during lunch time. Hahahaha! :)

That movie totally made me crave something I have never tried also. I am determined to go to New York one day and walk into Serendipity and order one.

My mom always pronounces "quinoa" wrong and it's starting to drive me nuts. How many times can you politely correct someone? sigh.

Just started listening to Channel Orange and I LOVE it. Great recommendation!

I have a confession: I read Reality Steve's spoilers so already know what is going to happen on this season. Which I kind of like doing so then I can follow the "final 4"'s journeys and see how their romance starts.

I'm also watching The Bachelor! I'm so excited for this season. Safe Haven was such a great book. I can't wait for the movie to come out. I love Nicholas Sparks. And Serendipity is one of my favorite movies. I've also made it a point to go there one day and try that hot chocolate! I bet it's even better than it looks.

Oh man...the Bachelor. You're right, all the girls look weirdly tan!! I'm rooting for Kacie from Ben's season. I loved her. And I actually was pulling for Desiree too. She's super cute!

Can't wait for your quinoa recipe!! I've never had it because I'm kind of intimidated by it and never know how to cook it!

I just finished reading Divergent and Insurgent. I did a review on my blog! I loved em, but I hate having to wait for the next installment!!
