Stitches by Charlotte

The daughter of a friend of mine loves to sew and has decided to turn her love of sewing into a charitable cause by auctioning off these adorable dolls! I absolutely love what she’s doing and wanted to share a little bit more about her and how you can get your very own doll.

┬áMeet Charlotte…she’s a sewing sweetie with a smile! This fashion-loving gal is seven and is a patient at Barrow Cleft Center. She was born with a cleft lip and palate and has had four surgeries to repair her perfect smile. This year, she will have two more!

She is the smartest, kindest gal with a heart to help others. She received a sewing machine for Christmas and is already putting her skills toward charitable aim. Charlotte puts hours into making a doll then auctions it off on Instagram for charity. Half of all sales will go to Barrow Cleft & Craniofacial Center at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. Her Instagram page is @stitchesbycharlotte.

Charlotte surprised me with my very own doll that looks like me and I love it so much that I wanted to share it with all of you. She even made a little purse to go with it because she knows how much I love fashion! I think it’s so cool that at just seven years old, she’s come up with this awesome idea to help others.

Charlotte’s auctions include girl dolls, boy dolls, holiday/seasonal themed dolls, and even design your own dolls! I love the design a doll auction because you get to choose the eye color, hair color, hair style, and clothing of the doll.
